Best of Luck to Students in Rang Tara
Second year students from Rang Tara accompanied by their Science teacher Miss Mulry attending a photo-shoot to launch the BT Young Scientist Competition 2018 at the Department of Education Buildings in Dublin, where they met with the Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton, on Friday 24th October. This event took place following the girls’ qualification into the BT Young Scientist Competition 2018. We wish them well in the competition which takes place in the new year.

Over this next month, LC 1 and LC2, in addition to LCA 1 and LCA 2,will, through their Religion classes collect basic items to make packs for the Rough Sleepers linked to the Simon Community. The Rough Sleepers are a section of the homeless who for a variety of reasons do not sleep in Homeless Shelters. Congratulations Katie Kenny Byrne
LC1 student Katie Kenny Byrne was crowned Leinster Senior Schools Individual Debating Champion when she saw off the competition from eleven other debaters at the Grand Final in Trinity College on March 24th, opposing the motion Supporting the Decline of the USA as a Global Superpower.
