Second Year student Danica Liquit has entered a very accomplished design for the extremely popular ‘Doodle 4 Google’ competition.  This is a national competition where students are invited to enter a design based on the infamous Google template.  This year’s theme is ‘My Adventure….’. European Youth Event Winners 2014

Congratulations to TY students Eleanor Columb, Rebecca Ross, Ciara Myles and Sarah Murray who successfully entered the European Parliaments ‘ Design a Flier’ competition to promote the European Elections in May 2014 as part of their European Studies module. 24 TY students will represent Ireland in Strasbourg at the European Youth Event 2014.  The entry ‘ Together we are Europe’ was considered of such a high standard that the European Parliament decided to exceptionally award Read more…

CCC vs. Kilcullen National Basketball Arena Irish National School’s Cup Final Jan. 21, 2014   A superb performance by Whitney Moia was more than enough to crown Castleknock Community College the winners of the U19 B Girls All Ireland Cup as they beat Cross & Passion Kilcullen by 52-25. TY Trip to Bundoran

The T.Y. students of 2013 greatly looked forward to the annual TY trip to Bundoran, and for the majority it lived up to their expectations. We headed off on a Thursday morning in April on the long bus journey from CCC to Donegal. Camogie News

Camogie in the College has had a meteoric rise since its inception in 2010.  This year we won both the Senior C and Junior C Dublin Colleges League.  While many of our initial matches saw our teams enjoy comfortable leads, both finals were a true test of character and determination. Castleknock Community College fields teams that compete in the eastern region of The Basketball Ireland Post Primary Schools League. We enter teams into the Senior (under-19), Cadete (under-16), Minor (2nd years), and Junior (1st years) competitions. Each team competes against various secondary schools in the Eastern Region.
